TRAPEZE NETWORKS CONTINUES TO EXPAND EMEA PRESENCE TO MEET THE GROWING NEEDS OF CUSTOMERS AND PARTNERS

Pleasanton, California, February 1, 2006 – Trapeze Networks™, the award winning provider of the wireless LAN (WLAN) Mobility System™, today announced that it has expanded to a larger European headquarters due to the increased demand for its products throughout Europe. Its new facilities include customer and partner training centers, plus new offices in Germany and Sweden. The company also hired a pre-sales support manager for southern Europe.

In EMEA, the Trapeze Mobility System is sold through an authorized channel partner base of over 100 resellers and systems integrators that are trained and annually certified to sell and support the Trapeze Mobility System. In 2005, Trapeze’s EMEA headquarters, located in Hilversum, the Netherlands, trained over 400 channel partners.

With this new larger office and the new training center equipped with state-of-the-art , multi-functional training equipment, Trapeze aims to double the number of technically trained engineers in the EMEA hemisphere. The new office and training facility, also located in Hilversum, will open this month and will allow Trapeze to train 20 engineers concurrently.

Trapeze has opened new offices in Germany and Sweden. The new German office is located in Munich and is being run by Martin Scheller. Joakim Wiling has been hired as the Sales Manager for the Nordics region and will be in charge of all Trapeze business in Denmark , Finland, Norway and Sweden. Olivier Carbonneaux is the new pre-sales support manager for southern EMEA. All three have many years of sales and technical support in the wireless field.

Expanding our EMEA headquarters and European presence will provide us with the extra space and resources needed to train and support our customers and partners throughout Europe.”

Trapeze EMEA customers come from a variety of vertical markets including Healthcare, Education, Finance, Logistic, Retail, Local & Central Government, Manufacturing and Consulting. Some larger names in Trapeze’s European customer base include: Fortis Bank, Manchester Airports Group , Gemeente Amsterdam, Douglas, Londonderry City Council, Behr-Hella, France Television, Oxford University, Aberdeen City Council, Arvato Group, Max Planck Institut es and Discovery Communications.
