TRAPEZE NETWORKS HIRES VICE PRESIDENT OF WORLDWIDE SALES TO TAKE COMPANY TO THE NEXT LEVEL
PLEASANTON, Calif. — March 8, 2005 — Trapeze Networks™, maker of award-winning wireless local area networking (WLAN) systems, today announced that Neil Sundstrom has joined its executive team as vice president of worldwide sales.
A 20-year computer network industry veteran, Sundstrom is responsible for increasing Trapeze sales revenue throughout the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, as well as expanding the company's worldwide sales organization.
"Neil has a superb record of building strong global sales teams, exceeding revenue goals and getting companies in shape to go public," said Jim Vogt, Trapeze president and CEO. "He will play a pivotal role here as we enter the next stages of development. While startup competitors have been acquired or seek out acquisition, Trapeze remains focused on building a viable, long-term business through strategic partnerships and innovative new products."

Sundstrom has held executive roles at SynOptics Communications, 3Com Corp. and Packeteer, where he was director of international sales, vice president of international sales and vice president of worldwide sales, respectively. He also was on the board of directors of Perle Systems in Toronto and serves on the board of the non-profit Cupertino Education Endowment Foundation in Cupertino, Calif. Sundstrom holds a BA in psychology from Simon Fraser University, located near Vancouver, British Columbia.
