TRAPEZE NETWORKS TEAMS UP WITH iNOC TO PROVIDE WLAN CONNECTIVITY TO ATTENDEES AND EXHIBITORS AT RSNA 2004 TRADESHOW

PLEASANTON, Calif. — Nov. 29, 2004 — Trapeze Networks™, maker of award-winning wireless local area networking (WLAN) systems, today announced that in partnership with iNOC, the company that designed, built, and is currently managing the RSNA network from its Network Operations Center, was selected to provide WLAN connectivity for the high-performance network at this fall's Radiological Society of North America's (RSNA) Annual Meeting. Trapeze worked with iNOC and RSNA to seamlessly integrate its WLAN Mobility System™ into the overall show network so that attendees and exhibitors will receive wireless access to the Internet, e-mail, and other mission-critical applications while attending this year's RSNA tradeshow.

"Trapeze's solid and proven wireless LAN infrastructure is the type of reliable technology we needed again this year to accommodate the high volume of wireless users at the show," said Rick Smith, Vice President of Engineering & Services at iNOC. "Trapeze Networks' Mobility System offers the security, scalability, simple and efficient planning and management capabilities that makes it an ideal wireless solution for this event."

The network, named RSNAnet, spans multiple exhibit halls across two million square-feet, has about 80 network closets and uses Gigabit Ethernet transport with a resilient IP/MPLS core. The 2004 network is built with Juniper and Extreme routers and switches. iNOC has been designing, building and managing RSNAnet every year for the last five years. The show network includes five hot spot locations where attendees and exhibitors can connect to the Trapeze Mobility System to check email, view PACS radiological images, access exhibit information or just surf the web using their laptops, tablet PCs and PDAs.

The event is RSNA's 90th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting, bringing together radiologists and allied health scientists to one place to get access to the most current research results, cutting-edge technology and the chance to network with their peers. The meeting and tradeshow, which is located in Chicago, runs from November 28 through December 3 and is the largest medical meeting in the world with about 700 vendors, numerous scientific exhibits, and over 60,000 attendees.
