TRAPEZE NETWORKS ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF AMERICA SALES

Miller Brings Twenty-Six Years of Sales and Management Experience

PLEASANTON, Calif. — March 8, 2004 — Trapeze Networks™ today announced that James H. Miller has been named Vice President of Americas Sales for the award-winning wireless local-area networking (WLAN) company.

Miller will focus on continuing to build up Trapeze's U.S. sales team and expand its strategic partners and resellers.

"James has the experience we need to expand our winning sales team in the Americas and take our company to the next level," said Jim Vogt, chief executive officer for Trapeze Networks. "James brings a wealth of sales and management experience from past companies such as Ascend and Wellfleet/Bay Networks and will be a strong addition to our executive staff."

Miller has over 26 years of sales and management experience in the data communications and computer industry. Before joining Trapeze, he was vice president of worldwide sales and service for Ocular Networks/Tellabs. He has also held managerial positions at Ascend, Wellfleet/Bay Networks, DataLabs/Yurie and Anixter.

Miller earned a MBA from George Washington University and a BS degree in Computer Science and Accounting from West Virginia University.
