TRAPEZE NETWORKS HIRES CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mike Johnson Joins Team to Continue Company’s Growth PLEASANTON, Calif., December 10, 2007 – Trapeze Networks®, the award-winning provider of Smart Mobile™ wireless solutions, today announced the addition of Mike Johnson to its executive team as Chief Financial Officer.

Mike’s hire signifies a pivotal moment in the company’s development, which evolved from a VC funded startup in 2002. The company has received strategic investments and backing by Motorola Ventures, Juniper Networks and Nortel and is now a recognized leader in enterprise Wi-Fi. To date, the company has raised more than $100 million in equity funding.
Johnson will oversee all finance, administration and operations for Trapeze. With 26 years of technology experience, he has completed successful initial public offerings, as well as private financings, mergers and acquisitions and negotiated strategic alliances and manufacturing partnerships.
Prior to joining Trapeze, Johnson held several CFO and senior finance positions with technology companies, including Matisse Networks, @Road (acquired by Trimble), Amber Networks (acquired by Nokia), CacheFlow (IPO), and Ascend Communications (IPO and later acquired by Lucent).
Johnson is a California Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Hayward.
