BAKKER BART BAKERIES AND FC ZWOLLE FOOTBALL CLUB SWITCH TO TRAPEZE NETWORKS SMART MOBILE FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS

Zoranet supplies wireless communication networks based on Trapeze equipment

Hilversum, March 15 2007 – Trapeze Networks™ announced today that Dutch service provider partner Zoranet has implemented Trapeze Networks for mobility projects at the Bakker Bart bakery chains and regional football club FC Zwolle. Zoranet worked closely with the Dutch systems integrator Telindus to implement these service provider centric mobility systems.

Bakker Bart’s bakeries wireless network is part of a fully managed communication service for all automation applications in over 150 regional bakeries. FC Zwolle football club initially felt a need for broadband connections to allow journalists and photographers to transmit their match reports and photo materials.

In Bakker Bart’s bakeries, the Trapeze network is used primarily for payment services, telephony (VoIP), alerting, Internet access and e-mail. Depending on the requirements, the wireless infrastructure can also be used for security via IP cameras, temperature monitoring for the ovens, and narrowcasting.
At FC Zwolle, the wireless network has replaced a number of slow and limited-capacity ISDN connections. Beside the press, the wireless network can also be used to work with notebooks in FC Zwolle’s business club or to follow the progress of other matches in the stadium via a PDA or SmartPhone.
