Pleasanton, Calif., April 5, 2007 - Trapeze Networks™, the award-winning provider of Smart Mobile™ wireless solutions, today announced it was named a “Leader in WLAN Infrastructure” in the highly respected Forrester Wave™ report published by Forrester, an independent research firm. Trapeze Networks was named as only one of three companies that “lead in innovation” with “the most comprehensive suite of features and tools.” Trapeze earned the top score in scalability and performance.

Leading up to the impressive recognition, Forrester wrote, “Trapeze redesigned its WLAN offering around the Smart Mobile architecture.” Forrester continued, “The Smart Mobile architecture is well-suited for WLAN deployments that will likely face expansion, increasing complexity, or the piloting of new technologies such as voice or 802.11n.”

A company’s position in the Forrester Wave report is the result of its score on 54 criteria summarized by two primary categories of analysis: Current Offering and Strategy. Of the nine enterprise Wi-Fi companies ranked, Trapeze earned one of the three top scores for Current Offering and the second highest score for Strategy. Trapeze also earned the second highest score for its Breadth of Offering; Reliability; Vision, Strategy, and Value Proposition; and Technology Strategy. 1
