Trapeze Networks Joins Trusted Computer Group To Support Trusted Network Connect Initiative

Company Continues to Meet Customer Demand for Open Standards and Security in the Wireless LAN Market

PLEASANTON, Calif., Sept. 18, 2006 - Trapeze Networks™, the award-winning provider of the wireless LAN (WLAN) Mobility System™, today announced it has joined the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) to drive an industry-standard approach for providing secure access control and end point integrity. Through its participation, Trapeze will support and ensure further deployment of WLAN switch solutions based on TCG's Trusted Network Connect (TNC) architecture and enable enterprise-wide secured wireless LAN infrastructures.

"Customers demand secured network access throughout the enterprise, particularly for wireless LANs," said Dan Simone, VP & CTO of Trapeze. "Participating in the Trusted Computing Group allows us to extend interoperability with other leading network infrastructure providers and give enterprise customers the flexibility and choice they increasingly require."

Trapeze will also co-sponsor TCG's upcoming seminar series at the Interop New York 2006 conference being held September 18 - 22. Sessions will be held on Wed., Sept. 20th, at 11:30 a.m., 2:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. in room 2D08 at the Javits Center, New York City, and will include a short architectural overview, a discussion on customer use applications and a multivendor demonstration.
