TRAPEZE NETWORKS SECURES GUEST ACCESS TO WIRELESS LANS WITH ON-DEMAND ENDPOINT ASSURANCE AND GUESTTUNNELING
See Trapeze at Interop 2006 in the InteropLabs, Booth 2140 and Reef Room D PLEASANTON, Calif., May 1, 2006 - Trapeze Networks™, the award-winning provider of the wireless LAN (WLAN) Mobility System™, today announced support for two new features in its latest release of Mobility System Software™. The new features enable enterprises to provide guest access to their Wi-Fi networks while protecting network resources from viruses, worms and other forms of malware on unmanaged endpoint clients.
The first feature integrates the Symantec™ (formerly Sygate™) On-Demand Protection Solution agent into Trapeze Mobility System Software, thereby supporting another endpoint assurance solution in the Trapeze Mobility System.
